ATLANTA, Georgia, November 21, 2014
Interactive Technologies, Inc., manufacturer of professional entertainment and architectural lighting controls, today released a major new addition to its highly acclaimed CueServer line of lighting control processors, the CueServer 2™.
First introduced to the market nearly decade ago, the CueServer line of lighting controllers has steadily become one of the most highly respected industry standards for versatile and affordable lighting control. The entire product line offers its users a comprehensive combination of stand-alone show playback, control features, and Internet integration in one easy-to-use package making it an ideal choice for lighting professionals everywhere.
The latest addition to this successful line of products, the CueServer 2, expands upon the features of the original models with significant increases in power, flexibility, and performance. Built on a hardware platform more than 40 times faster than the original, CueServer 2 reacts and performs with next generation speed. This top of the line model also sports an entirely new Linux-based CueOS™ operating system and a native CueServer Studio™ application which allow programming and setup on both Mac OS X and Windows.
Powerful enough to control up to 32 universes of DMX, CueServer 2 can seamlessly and simultaneously handle cue lists, presets, and streaming DMX on up to 32 independent playback faders. An improved CueScript 2 command language, an enhanced real-time clock and calendar, a new rule-based event triggering system, stereo audio playback, multiple show storage, USB ports, and embedded web hosting all contribute to this powerhouse’s list of features.
Programming for the CueServer 2 is accomplished through the CueServer Studio application. This entirely new application allows the user to easily see how the CueServer is performing in real-time and provides the capability to set up sophisticated programs quickly. Colorful “live” windows display output channels, playbacks, and overall system status. Specialized editor windows set up cues, triggers, timers, macros, groups, button stations, audio clips, web resources, time based events, rules, and more. CueServer Studio easily edits CueServers on local networks, remotely across the Internet, or even “offline”.
“CueServer is a lighting control platform like no other” said Rob Johnston, Product Manager for CueServer. “The new CueServer 2 is really exciting! It has tons of new features, much more power, and it’s easier and more fun to program. We’ve been listening to our customers’ feedback and have been able to make a huge leap forward in CueServer’s capabilities”.
CueServer 2 is launching today. The DIN-Rail mounted version (model #CS-940) is available immediately with additional models scheduled for release in the first half of 2015. More information is available on the company’s web site (www.interactive-online.com).
