SceneStation Preset Properties |
|
Another powerful feature of SceneStation is that each preset has a set of advanced properties that affect its behavior. Using these preset properties, sophisticated playback scenarios can be programmed into SceneStation: - Fade Time
Each preset has a Fade Time, which is the amount of time it takes the preset's scene to fully appear when it has been activated. This time can be zero (immediate) or all the way up to a whopping 24 hours. Fade Times can be specified in increments as small as 0.01 seconds. SceneStation also can use "split fade times", which allows different fade times to be used for channels that are fading up and fading down, producing sophisticated transitions or interesting effects. - Follow Time
Each preset has an optional Follow Time, which causes SceneStation to automatically "follow" to the next preset in the list after a specified time from when this preset was activated. Presets with no Follow Time do not automatically advance. Presets with Follow Times are part of a chase, or sequence. Follow Times can be specified from 0.01 seconds through 24 hours. - Loop To
Presets can optionally specify a Loop To property, which causes the preset to loop back to another preset after this preset has completed. For example, Preset 4 can loop back to Preset 1 to create a four-step chase. - Repeat Count
Presets that have a Loop To property can optionally specify how many times the loop should occur before breaking out of the loop and advancing to the next preset. - DMX Values
Each preset stores a full 512-channel DMX "scene". This is the property that actually controls the look of the light fixtures connected to the station. Each of these values can be manually edited or captured from a DMX Input source. - Indicator Color
Every preset has an Indicator Color property, which specifies how the LED backlighting should appear when the preset is active on one of SceneStation's buttons. Choose from a wide variety of colors, brightnesses and optional flashing patterns.
