Hi I have an installation with a Mini Cueserver 1 (CS-810) I'd like to know if I have a memory card in it, is the show save on the card will be load at each CS-810 start ? If not, could I program something to have load the show at each start Thank you Stephane
What you are asking are two separate questions:
(1) "Start up action" to do something when CueServer starts: This can be programmed at Trigger > System Events.
(2) Where the program is stored: CueServer comes with internal flash memory (separate from the operating system storage) where the show file is stored by default. Additionally, there is a XD card slot where you can insert your own memory card to store the show on if you need more memory than CueServer provides internally. These two storage options are mutually exclusive - if you insert a memory card into the slot in your CueServer and reboot the CueServer, the internal memory location will not be visible, and vice versa. The memory card option is rarely used by our users. Most people don't even come close to needing it unless they store many hours of streaming DMX inside CueServer.
Regardless of which storage option you use, the Startup action works the same from either one.
I hope this clarified the situation for you.
Accepted Answer0Thank you George,
I was looking to used the card because our CS-810 memory is empty each time we restart it.
Do you have an idea what could cause that?
It was working good for the last year, but since 2 weeks it's totally lost the program at each turn On
So, I had this idea of the Memory card as safe to reload the program each time it turn on
Let me know if my path is Ok
Accepted Answer0I am not sure if the card is the best solution here (there may be a problem that keeps wiping the current show from its storage, regardless if it's the internal memory or a memory card).
The correct thing to do is to email our support with a serial number of your unit and version of firmware you are currently running in the unit. If it's still under warranty we will fix it or replace it for you free of charge. If it's our of warranty then we will figure out a way to help you anyway.
