Hi there, I'm having some trouble setting off cues via command line and cue pad. I have 2 universes (2 in use) and 8 playbacks (3 in use), I have a big stream of around 3mins on p1 over both universes and some small static cues and smaller streams on p2 and p3 on some spare channels on Universe 1. macro 5 looks like this - p1@100 cu44g set audio.volume 95 audio "carol2.mp3" cue 44 is set to no action on finish. When triggering the cue with 'm44g' it'll either not play and show 'errror: no next cue' or it plays cue 45 instead with the audio. I have currently duplicated the cue to 45 so it does the right thing most of the time but I don't want to have it falter when it's in service. Oddly, when 'test script' is used or the long cue script is input directly via the command line or is saved into a button on cuepad it performs correctly. Any help would be appreciated, please let me know if you want more info on the setup.

From the description of your issue (and without having the chance to examine your show file) I think the problem may be the command string you use to execute Macro 44. The correct command to run a macro would be "M44" (MACRO command in the manual).
The command "M44G" is technically valid, but in addition to executing macro 44 it will also execute the "Go" command after it runs Macro 44. The "Go"command is used for advancing to a next cue in a active playback, depending on which cue was executed last (GO command in the manual). That is why you see the inconsistent behaviour and seeing the 'no next cue' error or wrong cue executed.
Please make sure you have the correct syntax in all places where you recall macros. Let us know if you're still having issues after that. The next step would be for you to email your show to us () so we can look through it and help you troubleshoot the issues.
