Tiny House was a featured design/art project during the 2019 NY Design Week. The artist, Fernando Mastrangelo, conceived the idea to situate a small and serene, house-like structure, filled with natural beauty, within the concrete jungle of Times Square. A lighting integration extended the "natural" concept to human-centric response to warm vs cool lighting cycles.
Interactive: How was CueServer used in this project?
Carl Everett: CueServer was used for simple looping playback of a "circadian", or natural, lighting program designed to show a progression of warm and cool white colors.
Interactive: How would you describe your experience with CueServer?
Carl Everett: CueServer Mini held up great in a demanding physical environment where it was subjected to vibration, pollution, humidity, and other environmental factors. Thankfully, this was only a two-week installation, and I was glad to recover the loaned CueServer at the end of the project.
